2026 UTME CANDIDATES ABDUCTED🔔

In Benue State, along Makurdi–Otukpo road, gunmen abducted passengers, including 2026 UTME candidates.

These victims were travelling in a bus run by "Benue Links" from Makurdi to Otukpo when the attack happened on Wednesday night.

Around 8pm, their movement was interrupted, with several passengers taken into the bush by the suspected bandits.

Most of the victims were young candidates heading to Otukpo to sit for the UTME examination.

Police has confirmed that 14 passengers were abducted, while one victim narrowly escaped.

A rescue operation have been launched by the security operatives, with officials already in the area coordinating efforts.

Authorities also revealed that the bus allegedly travelled at night against company policy.
