These undergraduate programmes are best for students with competitive JAMB scores and complete admission requirements, and usually last between 4 - 6 years, depending on the course.

But this is not the only path.

 

2. National Diploma (ND) Programmes – Polytechnic Option

If your JAMB score is lower than expected, ND programmes can be a smart alternative.

Polytechnics offer National Diploma (ND) programmes in fields like:

After completing JUPEB successfully, students may gain admission through Direct Entry.

Several Nigerian universities accept JUPEB results.

6. IJMB Programme

IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) works similarly to JUPEB.

It allows students to gain admission into a university through Direct Entry.

It’s usually for 9-12 months.

It can lead to admission into 200 level.
